The cheese fries/tots capital of Texas, in my opinion. If you're in Lubbock, go here. For the same price as a fast food chain, you get a real burger, amazing tots or fries, and friendly service. Go get your buns up!

Clean very busy but fast getting orders out. In and out in 40 minutes.

When I'm wanting a burger I get one here. I love the large variety of fresh toppings and sauces. The buns are toasted and meat is cooked how I like.

I'm not in Lubbock often, but I try to go to Buns Over Texas when I am. They make some of the best burgers I've had. There's nothing fancy about them, and that's how burgers should be.

This place is where most Lubbock-ites get their burgers. My parents have lived here for decades and they always manage to squeeze in a meal here when we come. It is always busy, so try going at off-peak hours. The burgers are great!!! The people are super friendly, and there is a condiment bar so you can dress it up however you like. No need to special order (except for cheese and bacon, or bun-less) as you can do it yourself at the condiment bar.

A real hamburger! This is the place if you're hankering for a good ole down to earth hamburger. I order the daily special, hamburger, fries and a drink for about $8. Hamburger came out cooked just right, nice toasted bun and of course you have all the fixings fresh and ready. I like the fry sauce, a nice zesty sauce for their exceptional fries.

I loved the food, the costumer service, and the family friendly environment. This plave was amazing. I recommend it to friends all the time. I have gone there about 3x a month. Their prices are great too. Try their cheese fries, they are to die for.

Buns over Texas has two locations serving Lubbock and Amarillo. Just a good wholesome Burger with a friendly atmosphere.

This was my first time here, I ordered chicken fried steakied steak dinner,my husband ordered the burger combo,it was delicious but halfway through my steak as I was cutting it in half, well I noticed my steak had some kind of clear plastic in it. I'm glad I didn't eat it lol, but they apologized to me and fixed me up with another dinner right away.but other than that the food was great. I will visit again and I do recommend for you to come try it for yourself..

I think it's a great burger place. Better than McDonald's, Burger King and all those other national and international burger chains. They actually check to make sure that your food is good.

Great place to get a quick juicy burger. Topping for burgers is self serve and they have a lot to top it with, the avocado-poblano dressing and the chipotle mayo is especially good and different. Service was prompt, friendly and the restaurant was decently clean. The fries were thick, fluffy and crispy. The onion rings were crunchy with a tender onion inside.

Really good flow of the place. Cleanliness on point although there were tables that were unclear when we got there, me and my family actually sat at one that wasn’t clean but helped ourselves to clean it. Staff was fun and having fun among one another which I like to see and hear. The food was amazing and fresh! The burger and cheese fries with bacon was perfect! Definitely recommend this place!

Great burger and onion rings. Order extra crispy and they will accommodate. You get an open face burger with or without cheese to put your own condiments at a station. They have mini cups for mustard, mayo, ketchup and ranch. Cheese fries are super cheesy. Refills are free since they have side drink and tea machines to serve yourself. Reasonable priced. Combo options. Staff semi friendly. Cookies and brownies for dessert at counter. You watch them cook from the counter where you order. You give them a name and they call it out loud to get your order.

We really enjoy this local burger joint. The burgers are very good. So are their chicken strips. Pretty much anything they make is delicious. Their most delicious dish though is the double cheese fries! Man those things are good! My daughter attends university in Austin and this is the first place she goes to when she comes home! Usually not too busy when we go which is early afternoon. Staff is super friendly and stay on top of keeping the tables and restaurant clean. Highly recommend!

Great food at a good price with excellent service. Burgers were fantastic with a good selection of toppings and condiments. If I lived in Lubbock TX I would come here regularly.

Staff is always friendly. burgers are great. place is usually pretty clean. clean restrooms as well . Have never had a negative experience here, food generally comes out quick. prices are good. not very expensive.

Buns over Texas is a really good restaurant. Last time I went there the burger patty was cooked all the way and their fries to me are really special. I also enjoy their condiments bar.
